Ok, story time.
I don’t know why nobody cares about what happened with Little Red while she was walking through the forest after she saw Big Bad Wolf. She met some interesting characters (it was the longest path, if you remember). This is one of the stories:
While she was walking she encountered with a very distinctive character. He was a prince, the prince of cats, and it was time for him to get married. His father told him that he had to find the best girlcat to marry, the brightest of the all, but also one with a good kind heart. “How can I do this?” he thought “for I have no heart myself”. “Why don’t you?” Little Red asked. He told her how, a long time ago, a witch came to his father’s kingdom and seeing he had the most beautiful heart of them all, stole it and took it to her house, in the middle of that very same forest. She had it hidden there, on the top of the shelve, where nobody could reach for it.
A blue bird near them heard the entire story and his own heart felt sad for the poor prince. “I’ll help you, my prince, I know where she lives” he said “I can fly high and also I have magic powers. The witch won’t dare to touch me”. Little Red thought it was good idea and the prince took a deep bow.
The blue bird flew to the witches’ house, flue as high as he could and took the heart. The witch wasn’t too happy, of course, so she ran behind him. The bird gave the heart to the prince and helped him to put it back in its right place. In that very instant the witch and the prince eyes encountered. He felt his heart beating in his chest, and she remembered how beautiful and kind he was. The prince took her in his arms and kissed her profoundly. Both thanked the bird because when he set the princes’ heart free he broke the spell. They hugged Little Red and wish her the bests for the future and told her that she would be the guest of honor at the wedding.
Of course she went and it was one of the greatest parties ever. But that’s another story and shall be told in another occasion.
