Upton Abbey Tea at the Physick Estate
Friends of the Physick Estate held this afternoon tea inspired by the popular PBS series, “Downton Abbey,” in Cape May’s Carriage House Café & Tearoom, 1048 Washington St. Friday, April 19 at 3 p.m. There were gifts for those who come in period dress appropriate to the historical time-frame of the series along with “Downton Abbey” trivia for entertainment. Music from the series set the mood and guests enjoyed Afternoon Tea, including scones, tea breads and tea sandwiches.
