In France it is still possible to find beautiful examples of this tradition at brocante and antique markets. Linen has the appeal of lasting for a long time if taken care of and we have put this special set together with this in mind.
-Stone washed for extra softness, and to prevent shrinkage, these napkins are a medium weight 185gsm European linen, perfect for table use. They are a loose plain weave linen with a beautiful texture and simple hemming. They are machine washable at 100 degrees fahrenheit using mild detergent. It is best to iron them while still damp and we enclose a care advice leaflet in the box.
-The linen bag may be used to store the napkins in but is also useful for storing small bread rolls in or serving them on the table as using linen is a traditional French way of keeping bread at its best.
-Linen is known as one of the strongest, most resilient and eco-friendly materials there is with superb antibacterial qualities.
