June 1st 2008 – Untitled
Today we shot the podcast and then I spent the rest of the day trying to catch up on some photo editing of a wedding and stuff for a brochure I’m working on.
I almost had a heart attack though. I went looking for the pictures and could not find them anywhere. I knew that I had downloaded them from the card… I KNEW it.
I looked on my card an saw that there were some photos from the days afterwards and strangely enough, it said that those had been downloaded, but I couldn’t find those either. So I ran some recovery software and found the photos I was looking for, but when I downloaded them, they were corrupt. I was so sick. I had taken them a week ago and had taken the day off of work and… well it would just be embarassing to try to do it again.
But I had the numbers of the pictures and decided to do a search of my computer based on on of those numbers. Over the last year I’ve rolled the numbers on my camera over 3 times, so I found a few different photos with the same name… and luckily enough, found my photos.
Somehow they got put into a random folder somewhere. I have no idea how they got there… but they were there thank God.
Anyway, this photo was inspired by a couple of things. Jack Scoresby is back from boot camp and I thought of him… and the Shape had a photo of Ed Norton from "American History X" and I thought of Ed Norton. We’re both kind of little guys, but he’s pretty cut and toned. I’ve never had a photo of myself looking like that. So I tried it out. I’m no Ed Norton.
I used a few different free textures from Ghostbones
